Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., is demanding the Bush administration fully disclose the activities of an office implementing a trilateral agreement with Mexico and Canada that apparently could lead to a North American union, despite having no authorization from Congress.
As WND reported, the White House has established working groups, under the North American Free Trade Agreement office in the Department of Commerce, to implement the Security and Prosperity Partnership, or SPP, signed by President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and then-Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin in Waco, Texas, March 23, 2005.
The groups, however, have no authorization from Congress and have not disclosed the results of their work despite two years of massive effort within the executive branches of the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
Tancredo wants to know the membership of the SPP groups along with their various trilateral memoranda of understanding and other agreements reached with counterparts in Mexico and Canada.
Tancredo's decision has been endorsed by Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project.
"It's time the Bush administration to come clean," Gilchrist told WND. "If President Bush's agenda is to establish a new North American union government to supersede the sovereignty of the United States, then the president has an obligation to tell this to the American people directly. The American public has a right to know."
Geri Word, who heads the SPP office, told WND the work had not been disclosed because, "We did not want to get the contact people of the working groups distracted by calls from the public."
WND can find no specific congressional legislation authorizing the SPP working groups nor any congressional committees taking charge of oversight.
Many SPP working groups appear to be working toward achieving specific objectives as defined by a May 2005 Council on Foreign Relations task force report, which presented a blueprint for expanding the SPP agreement into a North American union that would merge the U.S., Canada and Mexico into a new governmental form.
President Reagan appointed Tancredo to the position in the Dept. of Education. Too bad Reagan did not consult with Dane first. LOL
Dane's posts remind me of the smears that came from Juan Botero, the Columbian Army veteran that unsuccessfully attempted to run on the Republican ticket for Tancredo's seat.
Does First Data Corp pay Dane to post here and destroy every thread that mentions Tancredo?
LOL! You like tom tancredo are losing it.
BTW, spiff, why does tom tancredo have more animus towards food pickers and house builders named Juan, than teacher union officials who leech off the public treasury.
Just mocking your unhinged comments. If their nature denotes that the poster has "lost it", then what does that say about the posts that I'm mocking and the poster who originally made them?
BTW, spiff, why does tom tancredo have more animus towards food pickers and house builders named Juan, than teacher union officials who leech off the public treasury.
BTW, why do you have more animus towards teachers and conservative Republican congressmen with Italian surnames than the people invading our country, breaking our laws, and murdering Americans?
Huh spiff where is your outrage at Americans murdering other Americans.
Carjakcers kill baby, steal family's car
Oh wait a minute, the perps weren't hispanic, so it doesn't matter to you or tom tamcredo, nevermind.
Why don't you ask spiff.
He can spam his michelle malkin made list which makes it look like all crime in America is committed by immigrants.
Border security and immigration reform advocates like myself and Rep. Tom Tancredo just want out laws enforced. The laws do not discriminate against any race or ethnicity despite your smears and lies. We want the border protected from invaders no matter their race, color, or anything else. Just secure the border and enforce the law.
The list, as I've told you before, was created by ME.
As for Michelle Malkin, why the ethnic animus towards those of Phillipine descent? Hmmmmm? Why do you hate conservative woman journalists? < / more mocking >
Whoops, I thought that the quisling was referring to the Tancredo Conservative Ratings list that I compiled. He's still wrong though. The list of Americans killed by invaders who should never have been allowed to cross our borders and who would be alive today if they had not was compiled, as I've told the quisling before, by a group that compiles such things and educates people about the victims of illegal immigration. They have nothing to do with Michelle Malkin.
First of all, I'm not real sure where you get some of these insinuations of yours that WND or Tancredo are promoting any kind of conspiracy theory about these SPP working groups. After reading the article a couple of times all I see is an attempt by a US Congressman and an independent news service to obtain info regarding a significant effort within the executive branch to create a deeper relationship with one of the most corrupt gov'ts. in this hemisphere......something no other media or political types have addressed to this point as far as I know.
Given the Bush administration track record of doing everything possible to assist big business with importing as much cheap illegal labor as possible, pushing for full Social Security benefits for illegals (totalization), utilizing Homeland Security to shake down gray-haired old white folks in airports while leaving our borders porous enough to allow any # of rapists and murderers enter almost at will, the total lack of effort investigating what looks to be massive welfare associated with the fake ID's, etc. it's should come as no surprise that the questions are being asked about this new arrangement being pieced together with very little public discourse......especially when Mexico is concerned.
Quite frankly, after years of seeing Pres. Fox treat Bush like a red-headed stepchild I have no doubts Bush and his people will do everything possible to make yet another one-sided deal.......of course it'll be in favor of Mexico and possibly Canada. If you don't think so, it was recently reported that the an administration effort to make ownership of domestic airlines available to foreign corps. was slapped down hard by Congress......this on top of the Dubai/ports mess does not exactly lend much credibility to any notion that this current bunch has the best interests of the American people in their dealings with foreign entities.
I really need to be pinged to these articles. Somebody needs to turn this punchbowl into a toilet.
This is absolutely true.
Don't worry. I will be emperor of the new North American Union. Emperor Amishdude I.
Sic semper tyrannosaurus.
I will be ruthless but fair.
But mostly ruthless.
Cheney's "family hardship" was being a father of small children. It was a very standard deferment and quite a rational one.
Don't forget nuking Mecca.
As for me, I'll just post this:
More proof of WhoreHay Duhbya Arbusto's failure to enforce the immigration laws already on the books.
If WhoreHay had been doing the job he was hired to do, Tancredo's contractor wouldn't have been able to hire illegal aliens.
Once again, it's WhoreHay's fault.
In which branch did you serve?
Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.
