Austin High School Art Teacher Tamara Hoover has shown her student a lot...! Including her boobs...and now she may get fired for it..!
The Austin School Board voted last night to begin the termination process for Mrs. Hoover. Officials say she should not have appeared topless on-line. She has been paid leave since May 19th...and this morning on her My-Space account, she defends the pictures as art and not pornography.

All of the photos are reasonably tasteful and artistic. There's no porn here, and I only saw two topless photos and one topless drawing.
While the circumstances may not all be published, if this was not posted on her website and she did not direct her students here, I think the school way overreacted.
She may have a lawsuit with legs.

All of the photos are reasonably tasteful and artistic. There's no porn here, and I only saw two topless photos and one topless drawing.Were you commenting on her or her significant other's site? Hers were disgusting. This art teacher's drawings were nothing short of some little 13 year old boy's sketches in exageration. Or perhaps she's not that familiar with the anatomy she was depicting. Her MySpace was juvenile as well. This is definitely NOT someone I want my child around, much less being instructed by her. I'd say fire her pronto, but since this is lib Austin we're talking about I'm surprised they haven't put her poster on the school's marquee.
