Your cat in the hat reminded me of my hat in the cat! I'm good today.
That's wonderful about your paint discovery and that you are re-energized and/or inspired from yesterday's painting. Keep it up and you just might inspire me!
Just in case you don't know this already, if you can take an NSAID (aspirin, ibuprofen, anaprox), take it before you make the aches.
Ah, thanks for the tip, I can take Ibuprofen!
Gorgeous day here today. The manse is cool inside now without the air on, but when I step out the door and I feel the heat.
If I do a little at a time I can do things, but my eyes are bigger than my ability to preform the task. The "I think I can" just takes on a life of its own, and I can't! LOL
I wish I could hire cheerleaders.
Imagine this girl is following you around today:
She'll do just fine, thanks.
As usual, I have as much paint on me as is on the target goal. ;)
Aha! A gal after my own heart!
bentfeather?

LOL cute graphic.
I am doing well, did some more painting, showered, ate dinner and laid on the coach for a while.
Hope you day went well, too. ;)
Good show! You had a good day and so did I. Mine wasn't as productive as yours, but I did get a few things done and my neck was much better today; barring any slip-ups, it's on its way to being pain free.
Ah good! You have to have kitty sleep someplace other than your arm now.
Well, I did not do a whole lot, but I feel good about what I did accomplish. ;)
I learned tonight that on Monday I can expect a handyman to paint the ceiling. That really needs to be done before the sidewalls. I was just covering up old paint with a base coat. I will be glad to have this done next week, then I can get my house in order, can't stand the junk scattered around. Makes me crazy.

...and now for something different!
History, Lesson 46
Amid the ruins, amid the rubble there
weed strewn echoes of what used to be
all thats left now for anyone to see
where once was life marked with care
Dim the light across the ancient fen
as night on cats paws cloaks day again
and soft the eternal wind tasting of rain
washing away the last traces of men
Time flows with steady majesty it does
carrying away moments that have been
making room for those yet to come and then
to silently pass away and just be what was

Good morning, ping!
Good (very HOT) afternoon!
Your poem at #211 reminds me of Italy.
Sarah Flower Adams
(1805-1848)
Love
by Sarah Flower Adams
O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
Thou lookest in a grave,--to see
Thine immortality!
Song from the Ship
by Thomas Lovell Beddoes
1 To sea, to sea! The calm is o'er;
2 The wanton water leaps in sport,
3 And rattles down the pebbly shore;
4 The dolphin wheels, the sea-cows snort,
5 And unseen Mermaids' pearly song
6 Comes bubbling up, the weeds among.
7 Fling broad the sail, dip deep the oar:
8 To sea, to sea! the calm is o'er.
9 To sea, to sea! our wide-winged bark
10 Shall billowy cleave its sunny way,
11 And with its shadow, fleet and dark,
12 Break the caved Tritons' azure day,
13 Like mighty eagle soaring light
14 O'er antelopes on Alpine height.
15 The anchor heaves, the ship swings free,
16 The sails swell full. To sea, to sea!

Lovely graphic, Jewels.
Gonna be in the high 80s today, I started out early with the a/c on, about 6:00 am.
How does it look in you neck of the woods, a hot one??
Yeah! Looks like low 90s today with a warning for lousy air. It's 80 already and I don't plan on going anywhere today!
How's the paint job look this morning?
