Paging Dr. Freud.
Alec Baldwin may have requested last year that his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, be forced to undergo psychological evaluation, but a Los Angeles court has instead ordered the 48-year-old actor to consult a therapist before he is allowed extra visits with his 10-year-old daughter, Ireland, L.A. City News Service reported Friday.
Though neither member of the estranged pair was in court today, L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Maren E. Nelson gave Baldwin a week to consider whether he would allow a sit-down with a court-appointed psychologist. Nelson said in court that she wants a professional to help judge whether Baldwin would try to turn his daughter against her mom if they were to spend more time together.

This is my second-favorite news story of the week, after the richly-deserved death of MSM poster boy zarquari. Not suprisingly, the only mention of it I saw was on the news crawl on FOXnews.
I believe he got caught in a bear trap and then shot, but I'm not sure.
I think that's pretty close to a happy ending. Not very imaginative, but it does sound painful. Could use some better writing, but all in all, probably not a bad ending to a bad movie.
Actually, the other way around. Hopkins does a Braveheart spearing of the beast in a remarkably well-filmed encounter with Ursa Major. Quite a character builder for Mr Hopkin's character; weakened Baldwin's character into a sissy and then the sissy falls into a bear trap (while trying to murder Hopkins) and impales himself upon the trap spears. .
Pretty good movie, by the way, if you are inclined to survival tests in the wilderness.
I second that recommendation. Baldwin is a smarmy, whining jerk throughout the film, so it's actually enjoyable watching him not playing against type.
Not the coldest beer in the fridge' is he?
