Human head found in garbage

From: Reuters From correspondents in Mexico City
June 08, 2006

WORKERS clearing piles of garbage from a beach in Acapulco found an unpleasant reminder of the seamier side of Mexico's Pacific resort, where there have been dozens of murders this year – a decomposing human head.

The head washed in from the ocean and appeared to be that of a man about 40 years old, Reforma newspaper said on its website. The head was discovered by state workers cleaning the beach.

Police believe the slayings are related to drugs trafficking.

In April suspected drug gang hitmen decapitated two policemen and placed their heads outside local government offices, apparently in retaliation for a crackdown on crime.

The resort, once popular as an exotic escape for Hollywood stars in the 1950s, is in the middle of a bloody turf war between cartels fighting for control of the lucrative local drug trade.

Wow, they really overdid it with the explosives when they hit Zarqawi's house.

Come to Mexico and get a head. Reminds me of the funniest joke I have heard in years, but also the most repulsive. I'll spare everybody.
