... because I don't think he read through much of the evidence before deciding to run with this case.
Is this Nifong's secret witness? Has he offered Roberts a sweetheart deal, say a one month probation and scrubbing her $25,000 restitution in exchange for her EYEWITNESS TESTIMONY THAT SHE OBSERVED AND HELP WITH THE RAPE?
Sure she said bull at first. Nifong has a lot of leverage on her. She might have to plea and register as a sex offender for the rest of her life, but she might not even know that.
I don't think this would work, but I wonder if this is Nifong's last straw?
