Sure she said bull at first. Nifong has a lot of leverage on her. She might have to plea and register as a sex offender for the rest of her life, but she might not even know that.

I don't think this would work, but I wonder if this is Nifong's last straw?

I will say that your conspiracy theory is the first thing I've seen on this thread that plausibly makes sense for LIEfong's case. It's far-fetched and about as unethical as anything I've ever witnessed, but this case is going down in the history books anyhow so why not add some forced testimony as well? Your scenario is the only thing that makes any sense for LIEfong. How sad is that?

I seriously doubt that. Roberts is already on record all over the place, including after her arrest, saying that she didn't see a rape.
