Sounds like the one of looking for a decent girl in singles bar syndrome :0)
LOL, I'll have a beer or three periodically, but generally I don't go to the bar for the purpose of meeting women. Despite some 'good stories' I may have, I would not consider myself as a heavy partier!
I went out a couple nights ago with two girls from church. One has a boyfriend, the other doesn't. Both are from PEI, and seem pretty cool, though fairly liberal.
The one who is dating and I had a pretty interesting chat regarding gay marriage. Generally, I try to avoid political discussions as much as possible. Most liberals I meet tend to be rather intolerant to differing thoughts & opinions!
I find a tough thing for me is I like the 'outdoorsy' types, and I haven't found too many of them here!

That surprises me as once again generalisations are dangerous but I always thought of Candians as sporty outdoor types.

I would have thought regardless of political point of view if church goers they would have opposed gay marriage.

That is why I rarely participate with the kayak & biking clubs .. I like the activities but they are very liberal.. ACLU members. Had Kerry stickers on their bikes/kayaks.
ugh.
so I kayak & bike either alone or with the couple conservatives I know
