I gotta agree--NYNY is a horrible song to listen to (regardless of who sings it)...
When I was in Telecommunications class, we used a wide array of music. One of the video announcements used a bunch of popular kids dancing and lip-synching not the Sinatra version (which would have been bad enough in its own right), but a cruddy remake by a punk band.

I was responding to that, basically by noting that people just don't believe they'll ever be called to judgement any more -by society certainly, and apparently, even by God.Allow me to elaborate here and mention that I don't think that morality in this context needs to be "popular". In fact, for it to be accepted by "society" would be very counterproductive. Sort of an "in the world but not of the world" kind of principle..

I love Sinatra a lot and own many of his recordings. I like mid 1950s-early 1960s Sinatra the best. NY NY makes my ears bleed. Just an awful song and a terrible tune. Just a matter of personal taste, that's all.
