I'm guessing that the NHL board of governors and league executives are sticking their collective heads in the oven right now. A Stanley Cup finals between Edmonton and Carolina will likely go down in history as one of the most inconsequential Finals in NHL history from the standpoint of TV ratings, media interest, etc.
It's really a shame, since it's probably going to be a very exciting series.
