I have as much interest in Springsteen's political opinions as I do in hearing George Bush sing "Born to Run."

As horrible as he is on politics,

it's a tad better than his singing.

"If it gets people informed about the issues, I think that's good," said Julie Tambascio, 39, of Boston

That's a heck a big IF. Dis-informed would be more nearly correct.

Ah well, the "America can do no right" (except maybe when a Democrat is in office), crowd has The Boss and the Dixie Chicks (who?) , we've got the Motor City Madman, Lee Greenwood, Charlie Daniels and a host of others.

Must be a great job. Sing a dead communist's songs, blather incoherently about things you know nothing about, and get paid a million bucks at the end of the night.

I always chuckle when I hear stories of guys "fighting" for the "little guy" by day and bedding down in $15 million mansions at night.

Artists turn to politics when they have run out of things to say through their chosen medium. For Bruce Springsteen, this was about 1992. After Nebraska, most of his work has been a mix of derivative Top-40 fluff, contrived "message" tunes about immigrants and down-and-outers, or poorly-conceived retreads of his earlier, better efforts.

I can name half a dozen more deserving singer/songwriters off the top of my head, none of whom live in mansions and pretend to be minstrels of the proletariat.

I've never been able to appreciate Springsteen's "trying to sing while pinching a loaf" technique.

First Springsteen tour in 22 years that I will not be seeing. He has finally jumped the shark. Even a couple of Jersey shows are not sold out and his show in DC on Monday is not sold out.

"Springsteen takes political tone on tour "

Boy am I surprised!

I'm so glad to hear the expert political opinions of this self indulgent, pretentious, pompous and faux humble "ordinary working man" Bruuuucee.

I'm also not surprised that he's taking advice and material from America hating, commie creep, and old fart Pete Seeger.

I hate all these people, simple as that. Can't stand them. They're all suicidal, homicidal traitors.

If people become informed it won't be because of Springsteen, but in spite of him.

I've never understood why BS is considered a rock'n'roll icon. I've never liked his music, never thought it was any good at all. Now that his personality is shining through I guess I understand why I never liked him.

Screw 'em.

I was a fan years ago.

No more.

Took all the CD's I had and put a lightshow on in the microwave with 'em!

He's a moonbat now and joined all the other left wing wacks. Clueless in the USA! Clueless in the USA!

Or maybe he was just an un-American jerk all along. Using the flag imagery only to sell himself. OH , did I say that. oops.

What an aging jerk. And to think at one time I bought his albums. Now I turn him off when he comes on the radio. Him and all the other 'celebrities' that do this crap instead of entertain. Morons like him actually think they are being patriotic with this mindset, they even passionately argue that they are patriotic. So this is love for their country? To always blame it first, to scream those sentiments out from their American funded platforms for our enemies to hear? I guess if this is what they call love and loyalty then I'd hate to be one of their children or a part of their lives.

You know what I'm the most sick of...I'm so sick of liberals with their freaking "WE CARE MORE ABOUT PEOPLE" attitude. They think they are so superior...they think they care more, they feel more ... I truly want to bash their faces in...how's that for caring?
