I just saw X-Men 3 today and quite enjoyed it. It's not the best movie of all time but alot of fun for a summer movie. If you go to see it, stay for the credits. You'll miss some important information about one of the main characters if you don't.

Anyway, the really big news is that after a monster start, "The DaVinci Code" appears to be tanking. We won't know for sure until next weekend but a 67 percent drop is always a good indication. So much for Christian baiting for fun and profit.

My son was ambivalent about it, but I notice he's already seen it twice. And spent time telling me the plot.

It has Wolverine in it. I'll be there.

I saw three movies so far this weekend. Xmen III, DaVinci Code, and then "Over the HEdge". DaVinci wasn't THAT bad, but it was at least 30 minutes too long, and some of it was just plain goofy, I wonder if the book is that goofy. Xmen III is not as bad as the reviews, Id give it a strong 2.5 or a 3 out of 5. Over the Hedge I ended up enjoying. 3 out of 5 from me.

Just came back from X-Men 3.

I thought it was good summer flick.

BTW, I won't spend a plug nickel to see Da Vinci Code. I won't see it for free

I was talking with my Sister in Law and her fiancee today, they LOVED it.

I can't wait to see it. Maybe this Friday...

I didn't like Da Vinci in Titanic and the Gangs of New York either.

If you don't watch the eight seconds that come after the ending credits you miss much of the movies storyline.

I plan to see X 3 but probably not until during next week. It looks like a lot of fun. And even better one more week of movie openings means we are one week closer to the return of Captain Jack.

I enjoyed the prior X-men movies and will see the latest installment. They're not profound, just alot of fun. I think this latest one is doing especially well because there is literally nothing else worth seeing. Remember the nominees for best picture for last year? I think that says it all. The movie-going public is starved for some old-fashioned entertainment and does not want to be force fed heavy-handed agitprop.

Somebody might want to tell Roger it was "Revenge of the Sith".

It is now the second highest opener of all time, right behind "Star Wars: Attack of the Sith."

Supposed to be "Revenge," right?

I thought it was terrible. It's almost as though the actors were contractually obligated to appear in it. Awful all around.

Please tell me Magneto gets it in the end. I know the actor does.
