Has anyone ever tried Bubba-Burgers?
Bubba Burger ^

I did some grilling today and made some "Bubba Burgers" and thought they were excellent! I was just wondering if anyone else has ever tried them. I cooked two different kinds the sweet onion and origional. Onions usually give me really bad heartburn, but i ate a sweet onion one by accident and it didn't disagree with me, it tasted great and no heartburn! :)
Well.. just wondering if anyone else has ever tried these wonderful burgers...

Must be an unusually slow news night...

More to your point, I have never heard of Bubba Burgers.

I haven't ever heard of Bubba Burgers, either. Are they two patties put together with something in the middle, like onions?

I like mine with bleu cheese in the center - but generally, don't like those too much because they aren't usually cooked rare - two thinner patties, no depth for a pink middle.

We just had a little onionburger discussion last week on a pizza thread - and another FReeper and I had each mentioned very memorable hamburgers we had in the past. It turned out they were both in the same small town in Oklahoma and were even related to each other by "the cooks."

I happened to find a recipe and instructions for making that burger (well, one similar - nothing can duplicate the exact taste of a special restaurant's grill or griddle - I'm trying not to say "grease," but that's what it is) - so I experimented last week and made a few.

They were interesting and pretty good - but food is almost always better, to me, when someone else makes it and serves it to me, lol!

So, tell us more about Bubba Burgers and where they came from.

Yea its a slow day at least for me.. Im just setting ehere watching David Asman's global warming thing of Fox News.

You can click the link at the top and it will take you bubba-burger.com where you can find out about them and store info in your area... The sweet onions are mixed in the meat no pockets are anything. I thought they tasted great and wanted to see what other people thought about them, this is the first time i have ever tried them too. They are good, if ya see them at the store give'um a try. :)

Darn right...Bubba Burgers are fantastic....they come frozen and you cook them frozen on the grill...

Just don't read the calorie count....I think a basic patty is around 700 calories each...
