The Captian of the Football Team Wants To Date My Homeschooled Daughter
5/21/06

Posted on 05/21/2006 6:36:08 PM PDT by Mr. Brightside

The All-State high school quaterback wants to date my homeschooled daughter.

The boy and his brother are two of the hardest working high school athletes I have ever seen.

His parents have been married for nearly 20 years. They attend church semi-regularyly.

My daughter has never been on a date.

What, You'll let your daughter date before she owns her own house? I sure won't!

Seriously, give them $20 to spend at Chuck E. Cheeses for their first date, then work your way up to lunch at McDonalds. If they are well behaved, let them have an hour dinner at Outback or soemthing.

Yeah, I have daughters.

I am very fortunate that I never had any daughters.

Daughters are great! Just ask my dad... but don't ask him where he got all those grey hairs from ;)

Wellhomeschool types are supposed to be pretty old fashioned so say yes but make it an old fashioned date -- you know like where they sit in the parlor and sip lemonade (hee hee).

And if he puts up with that for a couple of months maybe the kid is OK.

For the potential date. My dad said that...kidding of course. It's funny though.

Ask the dude if he wants a J.D. on the rocks. If he says "yes", then get the shotgun and shovel :)

When my daughter began dating I replaced the door bell with a door knocker.
