Early on I was thinking that CGM was going to say she ran out of the house without that stuff, and I thought the bag had been found in the house somewhere, probably the bathroom.

According to the defense, the boys found it (along with the cell phone) in the yard and brought it inside. Also, you would have more than one officer searching the house and after the evidence was collected, the report would be written.
Yep, I think that's it. It's 12:30 and she shows no sign of having been gang raped. She is trying to get back into the house for her shoe rather than calling 911 or running away screaming about the brutal attack.
An attack that had to have just happened a moment ago, since she only got to the house at ~11:50, and was dancing at 12:00 and on the floor, etc.

IIRC, the CD is of the ID process...and then the 2 VHS tapes, which I assume would be the statement of Ho 1 and Ho 2.

Based on what we have seen so far come out of the DA's office, I wouldn't be surprised if the box contained 1200 blank pages. I can't imagine that they could contain anything of importance that could lead to a conviction.
I don't think was a typical search. You don't normally let suspects handle evidence like fingernails in the bathroom trashcan where a gang rape occurred.
NiFong can just say the boys are lying and the bag was in the house all along.
I'm hoping the bag was outside when the cops arrived, and the boys just showed them where it was.
