He's not my kid and I'm practically hysterical that this heckler wasn't arrested for threatening Seligmann. I'm sitting here stunned and wondering how we got to the point that we permit the Black Panthers (assuming it was one of them) to run things in this country.
I'll bet that remark, as bad as it was, was the least of it.
I wondered that myself. Of course, her multiple felonies were reduced to misdemeaners. Are they allowed when applying for a law license?
I'm with you. I'm an alumna and I want the University to atone.
The cell phone company would have the call records too but then it's the time and effort for a subpoena instead of just scrolling through the phone menus.
Duke will be known in the future as Seliegeman-Evans-Finnerty University......
Pity Collin isn't named Xavier.
As he was walking into the courthouse....heckler called RS a snake and other things Fox reporter couldn't repeat. As RS was leaving, heckler yelled, "You a dead man walking"
I got the impression that one of the reporters from FNC got an earful from the protestors. I hope she reports what she heard. Verbatim.
________
Protestors?
More than One?
Okay, I see the game now, these radical idiots are going to be at every hearing causing a stir. Trying to intimidate people.
sheesh
ROTFLMAO! She would definitely outsmart Nifong. That's a given...lol.
I certainly agree not Fayetteville. I had not thought of Willmington. I think Willimington could be a reasonable venue.
Roger that.
It probably depends on the state. But if she'd been convicted on those four felonies, no way in heck she gets a license. Without a pardon.
I would subpoena the phone company as well to see if anyone tried to pull anything.
I kinda assumed that's a given before this is over with.
Apparently there was a bit of a zoo, with the Black Panthers, some underage drinking protestors and Heaven knows who else. I hope someone got video.
Isn't Nifong from Wilmington???
Certainly people can heckle defendants all they want on the steps of the court house. What is illegal is for them to threaten anyone.
That person who made the threat, should be watched closely.
She is 27 years old....it ain't gonna happen.
