"Ever wonder why the rich want to flood the usa with uneducated poor from totarian nations?"

Hmm... tot-arian nations would be those that are run by infants?

Shiny side out, shiny side out - the tinfoil hat should be shiny side out...

You misidentify the ruling class, a common mistake. It isn't the super rich but what James Burnham called the managerial class, the bureaucrats in the government, academia, and, above all, the medias. The self-described intellectual elite. Most are upper-middle class, though some may be filthy rich. Certainly a large part of their motivation is the never ending struggle to prove their moral and intellectual superiority over the middle class and to separate themselves from that dreaded swamp. It is more about status than wealth. Someone posted an essay by Tom Wolfe that has some interesting points on this subject.

The wealthy in this country have nothing to gain from destroying the middle class.Nothing! Quite the opposite is true,in fact.

The "victims" of this country, almost all of whom vote democRAT,believe that they do.

If Bush gets his way with immigration policy adding over 100 million+ people in the next 20 years, there will only be the peasant class workers and the ruling class rich that control them that will be left in this country. The middle class will eventually (50 years or less) being squeezed out.

I agreed with many parts of the article. All I need to do is turn on the nightly news if I want to see well to do people who clearly want to wipe out the middle class culture of this country. I have doubts about how successful they will be in the end. The middle class has the ability to adapt.I expect the sheltered rich to start buying their way into Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.

You wrote this Marxist garbage and are proud of it; proud enough to happily post it to FR, imagining that everyone would fall all over themselves, telling you great you and this tripe is?

Today's middle class includes multimillionaires. Most people, in the Middle class, own stock; even if its just in their pension portfolios, managed by their unions. And, they, just as the billionaires do, also donate to political parties and to their favorite candidates.

Your emotional, factless, wee tirade proves that you not only don't know what you're talking about, but are a closet Liberal, who has fallen, hook, line, and sinker for the class warfare propaganda of a bygone era.

I read with great skepticism posts that have class warfare at its core. The middle class has more serious things threatening to undermine its condition. I think that the increase in the practice of cohabitation and its effects on the family has more serious consequences.

One of the bonuses of producing goods over seas is the wealthy become more wealthy ,but the claim that everything evens out with the creation of new service jobs does not hold water. Many service jobs go to illegal immigrants who send the most of their money home to Mexico. Most of this money is not pumped back into our economy.
If this continues the middle class will become poor ,and many wealthy people will also end up poor.

The thing is that the superrich hand it over to the leftists because of their naiveity and inherdiant weakness.

Lenin once said that the rich will sell the communists the rope by which they will be hanged.
