Sad Mother's Day

Dear FReepers,
I am requesting your prayers and kind thoughts.
My wonderful mother-in-law, the mother of my husband and the grandmother of my children, has passed away at the age of 87.
This Mother's Day was spent in mourning and fond remembrance of a loving and faithful mother and grandmother!

I am reminding myself of how happy my mother-in-law always was, how much she loved to sing, and above all, HOW MUCH SHE LOVED HER FAMILY. Now she is with her loved ones that we never had the chance to get to know.
My youngest daughter (19) is an absolute CLONE of her grandmother, as in OMG I GAVE BIRTH TO MY MOTHER-IN-LAW!!! And even though we tease her about it, it's nice to know this beautiful spirit still lives on in her.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers for you and your family.
But I must say, if I could pick the day I would pass away, it would be Mother's Day. My family would always honor my memory in a special way on that day. And since I consider being a mother and wife my favorite vocation, what could be better?
Your mother-in-law will always be remembered in a very special way on Mother's Day, as you put it, "a loving and faithful mother and grandmother!"
