Duke Lacrosse DNA: Mystery Man Revealed (Accuser's Boyfriend!!!)
ABC News ^ | 13 May 06 | CHRIS CUOMO, GERRY WAGSCHAL, CHRIS FRANCESCANI and LARA SETRAKIAN

May 13, 2006 — The second round of DNA test results in the Duke University rape investigation show "no conclusive match'' to any lacrosse players, defense attorneys said, but a vaginal swab of the alleged rape victim produced DNA from a "single male source'' — a man not on the lacrosse team who did not attend a March 13 party that was the site of the alleged rape.

Joe Cheshire, a defense attorney for Duke University lacrosse players at the center of a rape investigation, said the latest tests show no conclusive match to any of the lacrosse players' DNA. (ABC News

Defense attorney Joe Chesire declined to identify the mystery man or his connection to the alleged victim, but ABC News' Law and Justice Unit has learned that the unnamed source of the DNA is the alleged victim's "boyfriend," according to her mother.

ABC News is withholding the name of the man because he is apparently not a target of the investigation. Records indicate that Durham, N.C., police gave the "boyfriend'' a cheek swab to collect DNA on May 3, ABC News' Law and Justice Unit has learned exclusively.

It is unclear if or how the first DNA tests missed what appears to be the only foreign genetic material found on the alleged victim's body, defense attorneys said. Two Duke lacrosse players were indicted more than two weeks before the cheek swab was taken from the "boyfriend."

It is also unclear whether the alleged victim had sex with the "boyfriend" the night she claims to have been raped by three Duke lacrosse players. DNA experts tell ABC News that genetic traces of semen can remain in the body up to six days after intercouse.

Here in the South, slaves frequently took the last name of their owner. The slaves basically had no 'last name' so when they were freed the slave just took the name of their last owner. Therefore, you would have have large populations in one area with the same last name, both white and black.

Yes, I know. I'm in NC. One of xoxox's posts seemed to indicate that many of the black Mangums had a European gene present in the DNA, which would indicate mixed bloodlines.

But you gotta admit that the Hugs-n-Kisses clues gained some credibility with this DNA match to a "boyfriend."

What did HnK say about DNA and a boyfriend?

so why is it so hard for some people to believe she would make false charges?

A girl my son's best friend was married to was slam crazy; I heard her myself tell him that if he tried to leave her, she'd beat herself up and tell the police he did it.

One day, after he finally gotten her to move out, she came to the house and keyed a brand new $34,000 truck and rammed her car in the bumper; he caught it on a camera he had installed.

While the police were there, she drove by; they told him he needed to go straight to the magistrate and swear out a warrant against her.

She got there first; she swore out a warrant for him, saying he had tried to kill her and had put her in the hospital a few months before that (not true.)

They believed her; I've never seen anything like it; even with our testimony about what she had done and said, the Rape Nazis closed ranks around her like he was Hannibal Lector.

It cost him THOUSANDS of dollars and a move to New York (where she stalked him) to get rid of her.

A diet coke? You think I'm fat?!?!?!?!

Not at all Warrior Princess. I just drink diet coke myself, and then I have a cookie.

BTW - this is my beagle.

I put this picture in my daughter's room with the caption:

"Does this coat make me look fat?"

Worse than that. Nifong had semen the first time and didn't disclose to the defense a) that he had it, and b) it was no match to Duke LAX

Precisely.

HnK, like any good cold reader, put a lot of stuff out there that could be interpreted in many different ways.

It's a style I'm all too familiar with for comfort.

Re: Dave Evans' parents and Nifong:

I'm betting they are the ones that brought Bob Bennett into this.

Sadly, it's the end result of the past 30 years of feminist baloney made into law and practice. There is now a presumption that all men or boys over age 5 accused of any sexual impropriety are guilty, and their accusers are always sane, have no bad motives, and were not consensual in any way!!

How did we get here?!

Have you heard from Mr. Bennett down there at ground zero?

I sure haven't seen him on the television.

If you go "down east" in North Carolina, every third person is named "Midyette"

There are too many Mangums running around this area for the name to be meaningful.

As I noted earlier in the week...

Assistant District Attorney Susan Spurlin settled with Wake Electric by paying $3,991 for the diverted electricity and a $100 tampering fee, according to Chief Executive Officer Jim Mangum. Wake Electric is a cooperative with customers in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash, Vance and Wake counties.

Krodg, I brought Jezebelle and Publius over here from CTV message boards; we had discussed the boy friend/pimp thing over there.

The alleged victim survivor black nccu sex worker was stoned out of her head while in the custody of Kim Roberts after spending minutes in the bathroom with said Kim Roberts. What did and who did Kim Roberts let do the alleged victim survivor? Who is it that claims that they have been thrust into this situation and should profit fame and fortune from this Nifongiside exposure?

What does Kim know and when did she know it?

Just why would Kim sit outside in a car for 30 minutes waiting for a stranger? What is the real reason Kim went to the Krogers (alibi perhaps)?

He said it was "striking and surprising" that two principal investigators in the lacrosse case served the warrant instead of the usual lone uniformed officer.

Did'nt you read that they are short of man power, lol!

>>What did HnK say about DNA and a boyfriend?<<

S/hr said follow the DNA. And s/he was posting this after the first round of DNA results. It seemed at first that s/he was hinting at Crystal's bloodline. But now with this latest bombshell about the boyfriend's DNA on the vaginal swabbing, perhaps that's what HnK was hinting at.
