Duke Lacrosse DNA: Mystery Man Revealed (Accuser's Boyfriend!!!)

May 13, 2006 — The second round of DNA test results in the Duke University rape investigation show "no conclusive match'' to any lacrosse players, defense attorneys said, but a vaginal swab of the alleged rape victim produced DNA from a "single male source'' — a man not on the lacrosse team who did not attend a March 13 party that was the site of the alleged rape.

Defense attorney Joe Chesire declined to identify the mystery man or his connection to the alleged victim, but ABC News' Law and Justice Unit has learned that the unnamed source of the DNA is the alleged victim's "boyfriend," according to her mother.

ABC News is withholding the name of the man because he is apparently not a target of the investigation. Records indicate that Durham, N.C., police gave the "boyfriend'' a cheek swab to collect DNA on May 3, ABC News' Law and Justice Unit has learned exclusively.

It is unclear if or how the first DNA tests missed what appears to be the only foreign genetic material found on the alleged victim's body, defense attorneys said. Two Duke lacrosse players were indicted more than two weeks before the cheek swab was taken from the "boyfriend."

It is also unclear whether the alleged victim had sex with the "boyfriend" the night she claims to have been raped by three Duke lacrosse players. DNA experts tell ABC News that genetic traces of semen can remain in the body up to six days after intercouse.

With the $800 price tag for the "dance", I would expect the guys to want the film to re-view it a number of times later. (I've wondered if someone there had a video camera...wouldn't it be a hoot if their close-mouthed attorneys hauled it out at the trial for the jury and all the world to see. LOL)

I wonder how much the SANE nurse was influence by the cuts, bruises and facial swelling when she said injuries consistent of rape?

Remember also the early "reports"? That Crystal and her mom did not tell Crystal's dad about the alleged "first" rape because it would make him angry? So that's why he didn't know about it. But now he does?

He doesn't even have the SANE report. It's compromised by the fact that she had presumable consensual sex that night prior to being examined.

I just finished making sure I had a paper trail concerning one of my clients who had been "in broad terms" threatening me. I did it on a hunch when he said something VERY unusual in my business. Sure glad I did it!!

I am definitely part of the "Christian Right", but there is just no way I could maintain my personal integrity if I abandoned all by staying home and not voting.

Some of these people seek to divide with those labels; you and I both know that most of the people here are on the "right" and are "Christians."

And the vast majority of us are "conservatives." We're just not the "wrist slitter conservatives" that are raging all over each and every thread on this forum.

And you and I probably do have "one issue," but in our case, our "one issue" is OUR COUNTRY and what's best for ALL of us, not just one little group.

I'd never put my own agenda before my country; and I consider doing ANYTHING that would put the Democrats back in power just that: putting self before country.

Lucky for us, there are more of us rational, reasonable people than there are of them. :-)

In the meantime, maybe we should consider valium IV drips? :-)

Nifong is not her attorney now. He represents the State of North Carolina. He has probably informed the AV and her boyfriend of that already. If this case cannot be proven, Nifong simply goes on with his life. He is guilty of no malfeasance. He might be guilty of malicious prosecution, but I doubt it.

If, on the other hand, it can be proven that there is not only no case against the accused LAXERS and that she has lied, then, and only then, would the AV in deep doo-doo. She would be guilty of a class A misdemeanor in our state and could do up to a year in prison. Sadly, there will be no reparations to the families. I can only tell you from our experience.

We do not know what is in:

1. The SANE report, but I suspect like many that she lied to the SANE. The reason is that Nifong got out on a limb about the DNA very eary. He knew she had DNA on her and she probably claimed no consensual sex for a number of days prior.

2. The toxology report, but I suspect like many it will be useless to the DA too. She is likely a drug addict and it will show up in this report.

But at this point he can still half report them to a Gand Jury and get an indictment.

I still doubt there will be a trial. I think either the woman backs out or a judge tosses the tainted ID and this all ends.

I have trouble believing that she is going to testify BUT it might be to identify him since she scre**** up identifying him in the photo. (He was the one who was supposed to have the mustache and 90% sure...right?)

The big question is: Who will hand her the kleenex to wipe her tears???

You can generally cut the time imposed by 3/4's. So, in our case, she could have done up to four months, out in less time that the 19 months it took to come up for trial and no reparations. That, ma'am is the state of our union.
