Everyone is giving Brown more credid and more condemnation than he deserves.

The things he writes, for example, about Jesus and Mary being married, has been written about for over 1700 years. AS to the Old Masters (and writers, inventors and scientists,) using codes to pass messages without being turned into a human marshmallow on the stake, - that's history.

Get a grip folks - and read the Bible, and when you come across the name of books that are referred to as gospels that were used in the early years of Jesus's followers before the Nicene Council some 300 years after Jesus died - and decided which books would and which would not - be included...ask yourself, where are these gospels mentioned here but not included? (Do your own research)

How many centuries did the church push their fabrication that MM was the harlot and the sheeple believed - even tho' there is NO WHERE in the BIBLE that claims this - and the church, finally, in the 1950's, had to admit it...

This is the first "Da Vinci" article--including even David Klinghoffer's "Why Jews should worry about 'The Da Vinci Code'"--that addresses this ludicrous premise of the novel.

The novel assumes that the entire Jewish people were "in on" this supposed massive collaboration/conspiracy. That alone makes the entire premise impossible from the get-go.

Furthermore, this idiotic nonsense is by no means original. Google Calpurnius Piso to find out the "secret code" behind the "Da Vinci Code"
