Nope - Nifong knows his constituency. He has demonstrated that he will break any rule necessary to bring down the privileged white lax players. Durham already elected Nifong for what he's done so far. The next election is 4 years away so he can do what he wants. All else is gravy. The players' guilt or innocence is irrelevant. Even if Nifong loses the case they will still love him for it because he's brought the Dukies down a notch.

I hope you're right. I can't help but think he released the results to the defense on a Friday afternoon at almost the last possible minute to limit media coverage.
Another news conference with NO results would be great---and take my mind off the immigration BS on the other threads. LOL!!

Ok to believe her version of events you have to realize she is portraying a struggle for her life where one of the students is chocking her.
1. You are asked to believe when she scratched/clawed her attacker she didn't draw any blood - that would have provided a very DNA rich sample. I believe a full profile/100% match would have been made.
2. The tissue was only found under 1 of the fingernails. Kind of hard for me to imagine in a struggle for her life she would have used only 1 finger to defend herself.
Of course the article does not provide the means to determine if identical material was found underneath all 4 fingernails, but given the use of a secondary testing facility and the importance placed on this case I feel it safe to assume they checked all 4 fingernails

Regardless of he results .. the evidence is tainted .. plus add on the DNA shopping by the DA ? .. the defense will have a field day with the prosecution on this evidence
