If the nails were in the boys' bathroom, then of course there could be DNA on the nails. Press on nails have sticky stuff don't they?

Regardless of he results .. the evidence is tainted .. plus add on the DNA shopping by the DA ? .. the defense will have a field day with the prosecution on this evidence

The DA will drag this on for as long as he can. The accuser will NEVER get on the stand for cross examination.
