Cute pics!! Try again if the server is overloaded. Remember to click on Kent-2.
"She's feeding the baby" bump ....
I went to the top and chose Kent eagle cam 2 -- the picture is a lot clearer.
The camera was working fine, I had no trouble at all. It was great to watch them.
Thanks.
The little chick is having its breakfast. Looks like the whiter blob might be a fish. The chick is the little fuzzy grey blob.
the chick is peeking his head out to the lower right.
LOL!!! Feeding time again! Good shot of the chick!
Ping...this substitutes for the other one that had some bickering probs. I asked to have it deleted. This thread is clean!
Say WA? Evergreen State ping
FReepmail sionnsar if you want on or off this ping list.
Ping sionnsar if you see a Washington state related thread.
Ohfertheluva...
Thanks for the ping, Sionnsar. The eagles certainly are fun to watch.
Thanks for the ping...always glad to see the eagles...
You are bad...
As Hair reminds me...the reason for the previous deletion was my own overreaction to a post.
I ain't no victim!! LOL!!
Sorry for the fuss-up and hope we can all enjoy the chick!!
Nice evening for eagle watching :~D
Have a good one!
I love watching the eagles...have been doing it for a couple of years...
I bring this up as a point of interest...the mating pair of eagles always returns to the same nest...when they return, they carry out house repairs...constantly cleaning up the nest from the previous year, and adding new materials, kind of a refurbishing of sorts...as a result, old nests, ones that are being used year after year, often wind up weighing a lot...I mean weighing tons...I always found that fact to be quite mind-boggling...
I live down in the Olympia area...every so often, we trek up to the Northern Cascades in late January, or early February...and take the hwy from Mt. Vernon, into the area where the eagles are down from Alaska...there are just huge numbers of bald eagles out, flying, nesting, fishing, and doing whatever bald eagles do...its really a great fun trip, especially for children...if you have never done it, take a trip up there sometime, you will not regret it...
In one of the great adventures of my life, I drove across Alaska. I saw the same thing up North.
All the Alaska people will be laughing at me...but for me it WAS an adventure. I went just before Hwy 1 was fully paved...and I had many miles over gravel roads. I went alone...and have many wonderful memories.
Gosh you were certainly adventurous...my parents always wanted to do that, but never did..however their best friends, camping buddies of theirs, also took that trip before the Hwy was paved...they just loved the whole experience...
My hubby and I are newly retired, and plan to spend most of our retirement, in the RV, returning to our regular 'home' from time to time...we would love to drive across Alaska...maybe we will get to do it...
If you get on right now...8:14 PM PT...you can see mom feeding the little one.
I am just wondering if this post is getting out. I am not sure if I am doing the right stuff.
Well, I think that the post is getting out, I am not sure why there are not more folks coming aboard..watching the eagles is really interesting, fun, and really especially great if one has children who will surely enjoy watching the nest...
