Accused Duke lacrosse player Reade Seligmann's attorneys want Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong thrown off the case.
Today, they filed a legal motion specifically asking for it.
"DA Mike Nifong neglected his duty as a prosecutor to seek the truth and a fair prosecution," the defense's motion reads.
The motions were filed just 24 hours before Nifong's Tuesday election in which he's fighting to keep his seat. Nifong is being challenged by former prosecutor Freda Black and private lawyer Keith Bishop
I would like to know where Kim was when she made the first 911. Can her location be determined from either police GPS or cell phone company records?

Another point is this: the photos were presented to Mangum as people who may have been at the party. But the NTO applied only to the lax players, and the photos were taken as part of that process, so all the photos that were shown were of the players, which means it doesn't matter if she was told they were lax players or not because she was told they were photos of the people believed to be at the party, so they're one and the same thing.

Just one more example of Nifong's insidiousness and another reason he needs to be kick off this case!
Another reason, which I haven't heard in the MSM, but was brought up by the defense team, is Nifong's decision to meet with the leaders of a radical Muslim hate group when one the defendants has a Jewish surname. I can't being to express how inappropriate I find that!

I also have not seen or heard of one documented threat against Mangum or her family. Why aren't these being turned over to DPD and/or Nifong? It would seem to me that they should be so that DPD can take action, such as putting traps on their phone lines, dusting mail for fingerprints, or doing whatever is available to them investigatively to ascertain who is making these threats and bring such people to justice. But there has been no news of anything happening in that respect. I wonder why.
Apparently she was in front of the house or at least within shouting distance. After the call didn't she shout at the players that she'd called the cops.

Only to the cell site tower location.. from what I understand they didn't do a cellular locate on the call, nor did they ask the caller's name...
I never saw that particular Fox reporter dude before....and I thought his claim of 14-15 calls was, to put it nicely, bull hockey. His "RS had a 15 minute time frame to participate" was lame.

As for the cabbie's comment about the car color, we have never seen a full photo of Kim's car. The photo taken of Mangum just after putting her in it shows a cloudy looking patch on the side. I wonder if there is light gray primer on the front of Kim's car or possibly even white fenders or a hood from a wrecking yard.
Another possibility is language. Mostafa is a foreigner, and may not have his colors right. Here in CA, I have heard people misstate the Spanish name for the color black as "blanco", which means "white". Black is "negro", but I think "blanco" is mistaken for it because of its similarity in sound to "black". The mistake could be as simple as that.

The strip show stopped at 12:04am, and Reade called the cab at 12:14am.
That's a ten mintute window, however, Reade made several calls before calling a cab to go back to the dorms.
