Here is my example with WFTD.
While the ingrates march, i hope the rest of yunz are spending money like a hunky going to the old country, as my dearly departed dad would say. And since it is appropos of the topic, let me explain the derivation of that particular phrase. Back in the olden days, when all four of my GRANDPARENTS LEGALLY came to the US via boat from Eastern Europe (aka the OLD COUNTRY) what they would do is work at any menial job they could find, save up their money and sometimes they would return home to visit the family left there. And before they would return for that visit, they would spend a bunch of $$$ on stuff to take back as gifts, they would SPEND MONEY LIKE A HUNKY GOING TO THE OLD COUNTRY (or like a drunken sailor). That is your a$$igment for today.

Ugh.
Even bad coffee goes ingreat.
I think that's Fox's midle name: Vincente Ingratios Fox.
Third Grade Teacher: "Class, who can give me a definition of the word 'ingrate?'"
Dirty Johnny: "I know, teacher, I know!"
Teacher (reluctantly): "Okay, Johnny. What does it mean?"
Johnny: "It means 'wonderful.'"
Teacher: "No, it doesn't, Johnny. Whatever gave you that idea."
Johnny: "Well, last night, I walked past my parents' bedroom, and I heard my mom say, 'That's wonderful!" And then my dad said, 'Yeah--I'm ingrate!'"
Anyone notice that the immigrants are now waving American, rather than Mexican, flags? Maybe it makes one less of an ingrate to quit loyalty to a native land that treated him like dirt.
We can't always win, but is a fail rate better than stalemate at the game of life?
