Please patronize American businesses today and spend lots of money. Our economy does NOT depend on poor, uneducated, unskilled illegal immigrants from Mexico no matter what the pundants say. We will prove them wrong once again. This is nothing but open border, leftist pyschobabble BS. Now, go forth and SPEND!

I'm about to go out and buy a wheelbarrow, some gardening tools, a can of paint, and some new house numbers.

My husband is probably going to spend a lot of money at the dentist's office. ;D

I got my breakfast from the little corner grocery store just down the road. Owned by people who live close enough to throw a stone twice, and get it in their yard.

I’m going out to Wendy’s for lunch. Check out their contributions to republican candidates, and you’ll know why.

After work today, I have to drop my car off at the local mechanic for a new clutch (it’s just begun to slip). I’ve been driving the wife’s minivan for a week, just so I could have the work done today. It’s a local mom and pop and son outfit.

You can do the math.

I live in a rural part of Ohio that was de-forested about 150 years ago for shipping timber for the Great Lakes. They replanted fruit trees, so we have lots of orchards. Which means lots of migrant workers, of which (statistically) ~80% are here against the law. It’s a big problem, even in rural Ohio.

I remember 30 years ago my Dad saying “One day, this situation with the migrants will come back to haunt us all”…

We'll be spending in TWO States, AR and MS

We'll drop DH SUV off at dealership to get heater repaired.

Go to Wal-Mart, buy something big that I might take back later :)

Gas up..

Drive to Tunica MS, stop along the way for lunch.

Go to the outlet Mall and buy stuff I don't need :)

Then check in at the Gold Strike Casino.

Feed a LOT of money in the slots and play Black Jack.

Eat a nice Buffet..

And tip very big to the Service workers who are working today!

How much$? I don't care!

I'm on a tight budget, so I can't spend as much as I like to. On the other hand, I usually do my weekly grocery shopping on Tuesdays but this week, I will do my weekly grocery shopping today.

"I had a trip to Wal-Mart planned for later this week..."

If your Wal-Mart is like ours (Hispanics all over the place) then it should be a pretty easy visit today. Let us know how it turns out. I'll be visiting mine!

I'll be grocery shopping today. Of course, I'm going to the Commissary which isn't probably affected much by illegals.

I just spent $4.59 for a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich at a carryout.

The carry out is owned by people who came to the United State legally from Korea.

I say don't worry about it. This whole thing will backfire on the protestors. They went out in droves yesterday and spent what they would have spent today. And what happens later this week? Cinco de Mayo. They're gonna make up for any lost spending by the end of the week. No overall economic impact will be noticed.

Besides ... I'd be willing to bet that illegal workers will continue to work today and that it's the ones here legally (or citizens even) that are the ones skipping work.

Don't forget to include your Federal tax and FICA deductions which can be pro-rated per day.

So far, only a cup of coffee and some smokes.

But later:
We are taking the dog to the groomer.
Grocery shopping (down to beer, mayo, and broccoli...put it off too long).
Have a ton of general things we need to get.
Plan to buy some new CDs and DVDs.
Dinner and a movie.
I need new sneakers.
Gotta get gas.

Good point. There are a few household items I've been meaning to purchase, amounting to at least $1,000.00. Today is a good day to do that.

Just started the day out with $18 bucks for donuts for the office. I was running a little late. I am also planning a trip to Cabellas this evening to pick up my new Beretta OU shotgun.($2150 + tax). As a result I'll be taking the wifey out to dinner. It's gonna be another great day.
