Oops, there goes Simpson at 105. To Bills. Great value for them.

Apparently, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He got a 10 on the Wunderlic-- hard to call secondary plays if you can't tie your own shoes.

I still think them taking Whitner at #8 was a reach.

I've spent the last two months hanging out at FootballsFuture.com. Great site...

Call it the Polomalu effect. Safety is the new glamor position in the secondary. 3 of the first 4 secondary picks were safeties. Usually it's the other way around...
Yeah, Whitner at #8 was 7-10 spots higher than I figured, but he's a terrific player...

I think Reggie McNeal(Tex A&M) would have been a better pick if the intention was to use him solely as a WR. Smith should get a shot at QB I think, but #5 on the depth chart.
McNeal runs a sub 4.4(4.36) I think, and played WR in the past. He didn't go to the Senior Bowl because he wasn't going to be listed at QB, just WR and he wanted a last chance to show his passer skills in competition.
Smith could pan out, but I think whoever gets McNeal will get a gem.

I thought they would attempt to get Bush, but their draft has been decent.

Cool, thanks for the link. ESPN is all over the place, I tuned in and waited for them to give me the pick....
just yapping away about stuff we already know.
I'll keep that window open and follow the selections there.

I like McNeal too. I think he has a chance to develop into a QB eventually if somebody will extend the opportunity. Otherwise, he can be a versatile position player..ie return guy/WR/DB. I'd like to see the Cowboys take him here in the 4th.

The Texans need to draft a punter. Maybe two. The Texans need to draft a new team.

The Devils have been on a tear, something like 15 wins in a row. I like them to go all the way.
My team came out strong but has lost the last 2 . The Canadiens are an ok team , if they somehow win the first round I will be surprised.

The Texans need to fire Casserly before next year's draft, when they will no doubt get the first pick again.
To: Dysart
I'd love to see the Steelers get him to replace Randle-El. I'd also like to see them take a shot on Jeremy Bloom later, but they're already too top heavy at WR.
