How insane. What is worse, dead silence(it never happened), or harping on the whole incident??? Interesting about blood vs step molestation. Your job must have added some gray hair on your head.

Violent behavior is as telling as early sexual activity. I hope the young woman in your story has gotten her life together. I left out many details in my story, because it will be appealed. I warn people on some threads not to take a photo on a Megan's Law website at face value.

Few people have good enough memory to remember all of their lies. That might be one explanation why so many conflicting accounts from the family members. Unless to cause confusion?

Oh so true. Lies made in panic mode are even more suspectible. Her family sounds like they want to cash in on the situation. Disgusting!

I would not be surprised if she has had a tough life. That's a horrible story. The sad thing is, even if she wanted to retract her accusations, it's not in her hands, if it ever really was (once she cried "rape").

Who knows. She could just be a head case and needs meds. Her behavior now and as a youth might be an indication of manic or bipolar mental illness, and not necessarily sexual trauma.

Maybe this is the reason why the defense needs all those medical records of hers. My current take on her possible reason for accusing the Lacrosse players is that she is afraid of someone. Someone who she was supposed to pay?

I pray that these guys are publicly exonorated, their job offers are reinstated, as well as the team itself. I will especially pray for this woman, to get the help she needs.

What's the deal with the TIME and the photos? According to Bissey's account, the girls were only at the house twenty minutes.

Bissey's account is not far from what the defense is saying, supported by the photos.

According to the defense, the girls started dancing around 12:00. Sometime just before 12:30, they exit the bathroom and leave the house and get in Kim's car. At 12:30, the AV had returned and is pounding on the back door trying to get her shoe back.

In one of his other interviews Bissey says he saw the girls arrive while he was sitting on the front porch enjoying a smoke. He says he then went in to get a shower. So he had time to get a shower, and then come back out on the porch in time to watch the two girls leave the house. Seems like it fits the defense timeline pretty well.

This is kinda fun... I don't know where it leads but I did read all of the links hugs and kisses has sent us and I'll give you a bit of what I surmised... You will probably be able to piece more of it together than me...

1. A reference to a little girl in OK killed by her stepfather... she was identified as black based on her DNA... "follow the DNA" ... we don't know (I don't think we do) if there was any sexually transmitted DNA on the AV, but if there was they should be able to determine at least the "race" of the provider..

2. Mangum is a name with deep roots in NC history... There was a U.S. Senator Mangum who's children were taught by one of the first free Negro's in NC... was there some commingling which produced a biracial male that took the name of Mangum...

3. Several references to the black political process in the Durham area... Has there been some behind the scenes efforts to protect the Mangum "kids"... Hence the reduction of the AV's felonies and the fact that BM was on probation...

4. For all we know Nifong is part of the history of Durham (parents went to Duke) and he has an inbred instinct to protect the "family" of Durham...

All this is just pure speculation based on the links, clues, and comments of our resident riddler... but as I said... it is fun....
