If it wasn't for the PC movement, I don't think shows like South Park and Menica would be popular...

curiously, excelsior can mean 'higher' or wood shavings.

One makes me think of algore.

Ed McMahon: wood shavings
Carnac: What do you get when algore scrapes his knee?

"This is Chappelle's second trip to South Africa. He first came to Durban, and visited Salim, in 2000. Chappelle won't tell me exactly how he met Salim but describes him as a family friend. A soft-spoken Muslim, Salim seems also to be something of a sounding board to Chappelle, who converted to Islam several years ago. While Chappelle is not doing a formal religious course in Durban, says Salim, who wore a simple cotton robe and hung back through the interview and photo shoot and only spoke when I asked him a question, "if he wants to talk religion then I'm there as someone to talk to." Says Chappelle: "This is kind of my spot where I can come to fill my spirit back up. Sometimes you neglect these things if you are running on a corporate schedule." The crux of his crisis seems to boil down to his almost obsessive need to "check my intentions." He uses the phrase a few times during the interview and explains that it means really making sure that he's doing what he's doing for the right reasons.

I'm not going say what was Califonia before Mexico took the land from the indians...

An Indian term that roughly translates to "land of fake boobs" or something like that.

He says he did.

Now if you see him around Yellow Springs, OH, you'll know that he isn't anything like what you would normally think Muslims are....

Yes I have seen him around Yellow Springs as recently as 2 weeks ago....

"Excelsior, you fathead!" was a saying of Jean Shepherd (aka the guy the wrote and narrated "A Christmas Story") when he
was on the radio at WOR in New York. Alas, he's dead. I've only heard rebroadcasts on shortwave, but I've heard it on shows from 1960.

Excelsior is also the motto of New York State.

Oh, the response to "Excelsior, you fathead!" is "Seltzer bottle".
Don't ask me why. Find somebody that actually listened to him live.

Oh, I almost forgot: "Flick Lives!"
