That apparently is it... I disabled it and your Missouri flag is waving again. Success! Great start to the TechSupport Ping List!

Yes. I remember those days.

Read a little about Localnet's acceleration program. Clicking the images only works in Internet Explorer...in Mozilla, you have to do this:
"The right-click options are not available in these browsers. Please follow these steps:
1. Click once on the small red and blue triangle-like icon located near your system clock.
2. Select Disable Express 2.0
3. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the refresh icon on the browser toolbar.
4. The compressed graphic image will be replaced with an original quality version."
I don't know, but it sounds like this is the procedure to shut down the accelerator. If so, it's unfortunate that they can't make their service work properly with Firefox...

My first guess would be the web accelerator, based on the info given. Does this also happen in Internet Explorer?

Problem: Animate Gifs not showing up
Background: An animated gif is a type of GIF image that can be animated by putting several images together in a single file. When the images are viewed, they cycle through the combined images. This gives the illusion of motion, or animation. Animated GIF format is by most Web browsers.
Solution: The persons web accelerators settings was preventing the whole series of Gifs to be downloaded (Saving bandwidth but keeping the image from animating). When this feature was disabled the images came through..

I am interested in being added to the tech ping list. Is there some kind of obligation?
