I have the primitive model also. However, I also have a DVD recorder hooked up and all I have to do is switch to the DVD and I can watch anything I want.
Also one can watch anything already on the Now Playing list while TiVo is recording something else.
The only time it's a problem is when you want to record something on both DVD and TiVo at the same time.

I don't have anything really new right now.
Right now I'm mostly working on a 24 Fan Fiction story that I plan to put on FanFiction.net in a few days.
I'm trying to confirm some information for the final episode but alas, that is proving hard as heck. Of course that would never be posted here.
I'm also trying to find someone who saw Kiefer's band preform on May 11th at a club called "Arlene's Grocery" in New York City. I need an eyewitness report in order to confirm or deny a rumor.

Two very good TV shows Smallville and 24 both have charactors named Chloe, both are computer gurus,and both are two charactors that are so good that they have become bigger than I think the writers first intended them to be.

On May 11th, Kiefer's band "Rocco DeLuca" preformed at a club called "Arlene's Grocery" in New York City.
I've been trying to find someone who was there or knows someone who attended and saw Kiefer. I need an eyewitness account (an Internet posting doesn't count) in order to squash or confirm a rumor.
