We are zoned as 5B. Which means no chickpeas for me. Darn! And I was looking forward to having some home grown homemade hummus to go with my home grown homemade baba ganouj.

I love desert plants.
I have some succulents...ie:hens and chicks.
They find it a bit wet here, and at least one goes to seed every year.
They make a glorious flower!

How do you deal with mold?
It's a problem here with the summer humidity....

Since I have a "black thumb" I try not to have anything in my house that I can kill. That includes green growing things with/out pretty flowers.
I'd be the answer to your moss problem, sion...

Get a spider plant. You can not kill a spider plant. It is the cockroach of the plant world

How do you deal with mold? It's a problem here with the summer humidity.... Interestingly, we don't have much of a mold problem. During the winter it tends to be cold enough that the relative humidity inside is sufficiently low. And in the summer we don't have high humidity either. I remember muggy Midwest summers...
(But we have enough humidity that my nose doesn't dry out and bleed...)

I'd be the answer to your moss problem, sion... Unfortunately the moss is outside. It grows on everything that doesn't move -- and some things that do, like my old truck some 10 years ago...

I can kill outside plants just as easily as inside plants. Some, I just look at and they cringe and start to wither.

You must tell me how.
I get them as gifts from people who know I like to grow things and I hate spider plants. They are not useful, they do not smell nice and they creep me out for some reason.
I would like to kill them off as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Seattle weather agrees with you, then.
:-)
It gets very humid here in the summer.
And hot.
