I second that emotion. I had a childhood friend who was epileptic. She had a seizure one night, fell into a lawn sprinkler, had a heart attack and died. She was 14.

Seizures are nothing to ignore, and when you witness one, you're forever changed.

Rested? No, not yet. But LoM is getting better and better. Made several trips up and down the stairs yesterday, and went grocery shopping with a friend.

Now that LoM is recovering, your stress will ease, and you will become less anxious. Most people don't realize how stress affects you. I do. You'll both feel much better soon!

Ya like that, do ya?

There are things you think up when you're a kid and you You know, think, "Wouldn't that be cool?!" But somehow, life and growing up has a way of trampling that out of most people. Then, you see somthing like this and you realize that here is a guy who never bailed on his childhood dreams. Yeah, he spent a boatload of money to build a very impractical car, but nobody ELSE has one and, if we're REALLY honest with the man in the mirror, deep down, we're envious. We're envious that he had the fortitude to stick to it and see it either done or discovered impossible. And we're envious that, having found it possible, and having done it, he's undoubtedly having more fun and living a more satisfying life for all of the money and effort.

Good points. I think everyone should try something that may be next to impossible, or very difficult to achieve.
It has to be something the person has a real passion for though.

I think everyone should try something that may be next to impossible, or very difficult to achieve.

Many of our forebears had these kinds of things foisted upon them by circumstance. Some chose them out of a raw expression of human liberty. The Strait of Magellan. The Oregon Trail. The California Gold Rush. Bull run. The Great Depression. Iwo Jima. All of these events were undertaken by ordinary men who endured -- perhaps even welcomed -- the fire of adversity to overcome the extraordinarily difficult, and thereby redefine themselves as extraordinary; worthy of being called "men".
