Not exactly the pizzaz of a certain other breed, but interesting nonetheless.

VERY misleading headline. Why isn't there an outrage against corgies?

If the dog doing the attacking had been a pit bull, this kid would be on a slab in a mortuary.

This brings back childhood memories of that damn Pekingese who chased me down the street everyday on my bike- until my Boston Terrier jumped the fence and kicked it's little fuzzy @$$ one day.
Yep, Major was a cool dog and a good friend. And he won a fight with a St. Bernard once too.

So we're supposed to think what about this article? That pit bulls are now harmless and Corgis are the real concern? I hate agenda as news... no matter who does it.
This is news because the mother's own pit bulls didn't bite the kid, the neighbor dog did. Difference here is if it was a pit bull attack, we wouldn't just be talking about butterfly bandages to his nose, we'd be talking about a mauling and maybe a dead kid. Lots of dogs don't like kids (and not without good reason) Few breeds ever KILL them. Pit Bulls, too often, do.
Ping!

I guess now its the corgi breed that's going to be picked on. I am the "Mom" of a very, very much loved corgi named Scruffy. He is the most people friendly dog (and I've owned lots of them and all kinds of breeds) that I've ever known. It doesn't matter how young the child is or how old the adult is - he is friendly to all. I will say this though, I once had someone threatened to hit me and he placed himself between us and made it very clear that I was not to be harmed.
