It is very distressing that Finnerty's deal in his D.C. problem may now come unglued because it provided that he not only not be ~convicted~ for another crime but that he not be ~arrested~. If he has a strong alibi in the LAX matter, it would be absolutely outrageous for him to be punished in D.C. because of Durham ~allegations~.
In thinking about it, I'm sure that's why he was charged. That way, at least he serves time for something, according to the warped logic in operation here.
