New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Ping :~D
You too?
Not exactly, just a small world is all :~D
FRMail...
Are you picking a fight with someone who's promoting that diet?
I haven't read it, but I'm against anything that claims to be the "Godly" or "Biblical" or "Holy" way to diet. Or to wash clothes or buy cars or whatever. Since that means that the way everyone else does things must be inherently sinful.
Not at all..
And as for the point, I haven't read it, but I think it's more about living a more "natural" life, through a more natural diet, not about "sin".
Naw, it's not judgemental as far as sin goes. it only says other diets aren't necessarily as healthy. I am about half way through it thus far. What I am gleening from it is that vegetarians have only half way and atkin's dieters aso only have it half way. That since we were made to eat both, we should eat both. AND that we should not eat overly processed foods. Sounds like common sense to me.
The new information that I am getting from the book has to do with our (mostly American, but everyone in general) industrialized methods and whatnot. Vey interesting read, though not very entertaining.
I am getting to the spiritual wellness part. Haven't started that section yet, but it looks okay so far.
I don't care what anybody says... Cheeze Whiz is good food.
:-)
I'm not even sure Cheeze Whiz is cheese.
They're not showing my favorite one there though. Cheddar-n-Bacon. :-)
Well, the chicken experience is over.
Steve took them out of their misery just a while ago. I got to pet Benny one last time before he buried her and I could also see the extent of her injuries and know that we made the right decision.
Still, I keep thinking of her walking between my feet while I hung the laundry...she'd just coo! I can't stop crying.
Oh, 2J. I'm so sorry. I've never known anyone who made pets out of chickens before but you and your boys sure loved them and... that was just not right.
Oh man. I'm so sorry, 2J.
So sorry 2J. Hopefully your chickens too, can meet you at the rainbow bridge.
When you've had some time to recover from all this shock, are you going to go get a few more pet chicks to raise?
Have you had any contact with the owner of the dog?
Let alone, food.
So sorry to hear about your troubles with the dog; it's truly a shame when something like that happens.
It is a shame, and unless the dog has other issues, it's not ~necessarily~ even a bad dog, just an uncontrolled one. Every dog, bird dog and mutt alike, that I've ever owned would kill a chicken if they had a chance to. It's a natural thing for them to want to do, unless they are specifically trained not to, and even that doesn't always work. That's why dogs within range of neighbors have to be fenced.. their instincts can cause problems and grief for other people, as well as themselves.
Yeah, ok, I'll try for the 9s instead.
oops.
