New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Good night, Corin.
GEORGE BUSH:
When you rearrange the letters:
HE BUGS GORE
Love that!
Steve's the same way...could care less about the actual ceremony. But I want to see it and I want the jedis to see it...I think they'll remember it all their days...and his mom wants to see it too.
And I'm hoping seeing the celebration will help heal this animosity I have. I have animosity toward the advisor, toward the paper it's self, toward the secretary...I don't like having animosity. It's a waste of time. It's disruptive to my joy.
If that makes any sense at all! LOL!
Oh and Steve knows everyone is praying for him. It helps a lot, just knowing that. It's calming to us both to know that this is in God's hands and He's looking out for us.
Night Corin!
I'm going to bed too...I'll check in when I can. Have a busy day tomorrow.
G'Night, HH!
Good night all...
SirKit did his Masters and PhD in four years, right out of undergrad school; we didn't have any kids yet. Paul wasn't born until the third year of his Grad School years, so we didn't have to wait too long for him to be finished. The graduation ceremony wasn't until the third week in August, and he had to be at Purdue just a few days later. He actually finished everything up a week or two before graduation, and we wanted to spend some time visiting with our families on the trip to Indiana, so we opted for ditching the graduation.
Those are great!
g'mornin'
Gots to go to the People's Republic of cHARLOTtesville today...
Have a safe trip, Corin.

Mornin....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JR STORMHANDS!
*Whimper*
It's supposed to rain on Saturday....messy conditions for digging clay.
Friday?
Oh, it's not. Darn.
Mornin' folkses... [sip]
I may have to hang out in the religion forum more often. There's good fun to be had over there.

Good morning!
Hopefully by the end of the day, I'll have a washer and dryer. Amazing how something so practical can be soooo exciting...
Ugh.
Woke up this morning to a whole lot of racket in the back yard. Ran out there to find a big grey german shepherd in the chicken run. It had dug a hole under the fence and was in there throwing the chickens around...feathers every where. I called the police, just a-screaming and told 'em to hurry and send animal control, gave 'em my address and then ran out there with a butcher knife, intending to kill the dog if I got the chance. As I ran out there it ran back under the fence out into our side yard, taking Puffy with him.
I was able to retrieve Puffy on the other side of the fence and saw the dog sitting two yards down the street. Animal control showed up quickly and got the owner of the dog to bring it out and put it in the truck. Apparently it had no proof of being registered with the city, no rabies tags and it's against city ordnance for it to be running at large.
So Jar Jar is gone, Puffy is going and I'll likely put her out of her misery in a minute and Benny Hen is going to be all alone...she's just missing some tail feathers.
There's crazy people over there. :-)
