Until the stars are all alight

Home is behind, the world ahead,

At least you're back now... Yeah, it really didn't dawn on me that we were gone a whole week. Didn't seem like it. I stayed pretty busy most of the time.

I got one blowin' on me :~D
I drug it out of the barn today, where it has been stored.
It was covered with an inch of dust. I couldn't find a screwdriver to take the grates off to clean them, so I just hosed the whole show off in the yard.
Seems to have worked :~D

We're supposed to get down into the 50's tonight.

Uh... well... I've got the locations, the priest, and the supporting characters... waiting on a quote but I know the florist I want... found a photographer... working on the invitations this week. I still need an organist, a caterer, and all of the little things.
If your apropos of nothing is in the Septemberish timeframe it's doable but tricky... less than that would be less fun. But my parents did their wedding in three weeks so it's possible.

Whew! Car's all loaded up and ready to go for tomorrow.
I couldn't get everything to fit in there so I'll just ship the rest later (either have my family do it or when I come down to visit).
But the most important stuff is already in there (the s'more maker, for example). :-)

We've missed you... it's been so quiet lately. Sigh...quiet...
Sister Mary Hamburner is here. She stayed with Nana whilst we were gone. Since wife had to be in Williamsburg tonite I ~graciously~ offered to let her continue to use our room and I'll stay on the couch since I'll get up at 5:00 and leave for the trainer.
I just said the following prayer...
"Dear Lord, deliver me from the all-western-televangelist-channel-for-the-hearing-impaired."

They'll pick up the car tomorrow, Ramius arrives tomorrow night and we fly out together early Wednesday morning.
Poor Ramius will be a zombie by the time we get home.
And did I mention that we have about 4 items of furniture scheduled to arrive the same day we get there? Yikes!

I'll feel so much better once Ramius gets here.
And we'll all heave a great big sigh of relief when we walk through our front door all together for the first time.

Right now, your brother is driving himself insane worrying about missing the flight tomorrow morning. I've got my alarm set to wake him up at 4am your time, so if you happen to up then - give him a call too.
It would be funny. ;-)
