WooHoo! I have him on our Parish Prayer list!
I'll add g'nad to our Prayer list, too!
Heh heh...it's just with the City...would be a promotion. Not much of one, but anything's better than nothing!
Will pray...
That was the line that made me look up who the actor was. I was so shocked.
SuziQ, NCIS is a CBS show that airs Tuesday nights at 7:00 CST. But the handsome and mysterious Ilya Kyryakin is no more (sob) and I had a crush on him, too.
OB and I will keep you in our prayers. Working nights is so hard on the whole family....
Since 'House" is in re-runs on Tuesdays, I'll have to check it out.
Hmmm... I am updating my resume right now for the Great Iowa Job Hunt... maybe I should get you to read it!
I will if you'd like me to :~D
Well, *actuallly*...
That's ridiculous. Are they unaware of his prior service?? Harumph.
Fervent prayers for positive developments on the job-front.
Crisp and clean and in it's own envelope. They make big resume envelopes so it will lay flat.
Ditto previous comments about not being bound by the ol' one-page resume rule. Advice that got me my current job is to quantify quantify quantify and emphasize *impact* of his activities and accomplishments.
ie, if Steve was responsible for a big budget, mention how much. If he instituted measures that saved the city money, mention how much. If he raised money, mention how much he increased donations. If stream quality improved, quantify how much. If he organized volunteers, how many, what kind of impact did they have? Drop names of other agencies or communities or programs he coordinated with. Highlight how his work has affected the city, the environment, etc.
My $0.02 anyway. I need to update my own resume...
Found this one right off. Oregon is nice. You can get a bit of land there.
Aaaarrgghhh!
Quantify? I'd think I'd have to give the raw values (before and after) means, stdev's, and %RSD's!
Naw - just something like my management of such and such team resulted in n% improvement in efficiency and saved $K over x-many years.
But you need the data to back it up, don't you? :)
That's what the references are for! :P
Heck.
It has been quite a while.
Since I snaiged a precious.
