New verse:

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Eek!
Didn't get around to it in any case. Gotta go back out, I guess.
Are you gonna try to roast your own beans?
Post before and after pictures so we can properly assess your haircut ...!
Yeah, if it gets that far. From what I've found, it takes 3 to 4 years for a plant to produce beans.
mmmmm....links...
(but wait until you find time after SM)
I fergot all about Jr's pellet gun. I think he needs some target practice.
mmmm...chipmunk targets....
Danged uppity varmints!
Afternoon...leavin' here shortly...the youthchoirproduction is tonite. Jr's been rehearsin' all weekend.
Took a nap on thedeck this afternoon. Made Sam stay out there with me 'cause he could use some fresh air.
You woulda thought I was torturin' him. He finally got someone to let him back in whilst I was asleep.
And, I forgot to tell this story. He didn't eat the whole time were gone for the funeral. AFAIK he's never done that before.
Jr. said "just think what he'll do when I'm gone for a week."
Ummmm..."Jr....you were ~here~...."
'zactly. not a bit o' manners to show up all uninvited like.
What's the matter with that dog? They're supposed to want to be wherever we are. Rain or shine, heat or bitter cold.
*snort*
Heh...well, too late for the before. But it's cut. I'm much happier with it short!
Then I went to Best Buy and ended up getting into about an hour long conversation with a random customer about the merits of various types of Linux and various and sundry other techie stuff. Oops. Hope I didn't get him in trouble...but he did more of the talking than I did, so it's not really my fault.
I'll check my gmail!
Are the plants kinda pretty even if they don't produce much?
I've always thought it'd be interesting to try roasting my own...ordering green coffee beans and starting from there. Probably more of a hassle than I'd be willing to deal with, though. I lazy...
Dang...looks like more rain is coming up. If it wasn't so windy, I'd start dumping grass seed...with a little warmth, it'd sprout pretty quickly with all this damp. As it is, though, I think I'd end up with grass in all the places I *don't* want it.
Driving my van in this breeze is probably about like trying to sail a sailboat against the wind...
Dang... the rain's been added to the forecast since I looked last, I thought it was supposed to be drying out this week.
Me too...
*sigh*
At least tomorrow I don't think it's supposed to rain...just be cloudy. That's actually rather nice weather, IMO...
I don't need twelve 6-foot plants!
The instructions said to soak the seeds 2 to 3 days before planting. I started soaking them Friday morning and several of them have already sprouted.
Heh...yeah, the 6-foot ones might be a bit much for the average small garden. There's something to be said for having a coffee plantation on your land, but...
Wind's picking up out there. Wonder if we're gonna get a downpour all of a sudden.
hmmm. 12 six foot plants or 6 twelve foot plants, decisions, decisions...
been working in the upstairs bathroom, redoing what we did earlier, sort of a corin project...
LSA got some new Ginger Beer at Target - called Archer Farms "handcrafted in small quantities". Very gingery, good stuff...
Sigh.
June smoochmoot is over. How long until July?
