Have a safe trip and a good visit with your family.
I was out in the back yard raking a few years ago, looked up, and there was a bunny no more than 10 feet from me. He wasn't scared because he know I wasn't going to hurt him. Whenever I see one, I'll call to him and say, "Hello, Mr. Bunny". He's cute, but of course, I don't have any veggies that he's bothering.;o)
I've known enough wiccans to find the whole skyclad thing very, very scary.
Ugh, long day, didn't solve anything, and it's soooo hot here, I'm melting. 97 degrees and muggy.
Alas. It was only mid-80's here but we have no AC at work and an office full of computers throwing off heat. Ugh. I'm happy to be home.
Ugh! At least I have a nice cool office all day.
Grr. Went to run at the high school track and it's closed today for graduation set up - and closed tomorrow for graduation. How rude of them to interfere with my workout plans ;-)

Not that you could tell by looking at me.

Though I suppose if I laid off the chow
(munch munch)
You could.
(munch gulp)
Here's the garden as of this morning:
I had a bunny named Fiver when I was a girl. :-)
He leaves for training on June 3, so I mailed the knife, along with a Camillus Rescue, and some safety carabiners. I received this frmail reply:
Thank you so very much for your gratitude and your generosity. In today's world, not that many people really have a true appreciation of what kind of a sacrifice service to our country entails. I was not home for my first daughter's birth. I missed her HS graduation. I barely made my second daughter's birth. I was gone for the majority of my wife's pregnancies. Time of course I can never get back.
But on the positive note, I was doing something that mattered; helping to preserve the freedoms we have enjoyed for over 225 years.
Thank you again and God Bless you and all the Freepers!
That knife can't possibly ever be a sufficient expression of thanks, but it's the best we can do, along with our prayers.
Thank you, stm. Stay safe, and stay in touch.
Thank you winmag, for knowing just the right thing for a FReeper like stm. :~D
Thank you for your service, stm, and come back to us safe. You'll be in our prayers.
Eeek! The new visitors are...kind of alarming when one isn't expecting 'em!
What wine goes with chocolate?
Heh.... thanks to XGI for making the image up... I didn't have time to :~D
That's not what I meant by "visitors", chica. ;-)
winmag - that's a beauty of a knife! Perfect for a FReeper Hometown Hero like stm!
You wanted visitors! :~D
Ooohh...that's what I've got!
I don't care much for white chocolate. The darker the chocolate, the better I like it.
...and I'm rather partial to red wines.
