Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Until the stars are all alight
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

*sigh*
I was really hoping I wouldn't find out until later, though I wanted it to be him. But some doofus already posted a thread with the spoiler in the title, so...oh well.

LOL! GMTA, indeed! "Interesting" is about all I could think to post, without giving anything away! ;)
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
It's been an "interesting" season!
Hm...cookies for it are already available...maybe I'll get to watch it the same night as everyone else for once...we shall see!
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
I guess we'll have to get "Lost" on DVD and watch it from the beginning. That's what we did with "24".

Well...I'll get to watch it tomorrow.
Gonna be painful having it end, though! And they do love series cliff-hangers...

Thanks for the spoiler....;-) Aw heck! I'm sorry. I didn't think.
If it helps any, I haven't seen a single episode of Lost or 24. I plan to get the first season of 24 at least. The spoilers have piqued my curiosity. :)

"I think you'd be setting yourself up for a heartbreak to keep going". Terrible news. My heart breaks for you to have to make that decision. Poor kitty. You're a good person, Hair, with a big heart full of love. And kitty's life was better for it.

Heh, that's what we said last night. We TiVod it and got a late start so we weren't done til 11:30 and I had to go to bed but I was wondering what you would think.
Better cliffhanger than last year, IMO.

Heh. I guess the man wasn't kidding when he said it'd be late. Luggage was sitting by the door when I let Mr. Darcy out this morning.

Good morning, Ruthie!
To: Lil'freeper
You shoulda walked up to the naybor lady, looked around cautiously, then looked her very intensely in the eyes and said in a low voice, "You know, I work for the government..."
ROFLOL! Bet that'd freak her out! Heh heh...just the mental picture is cracking me up.

Good morning!
Good news about the luggage OT!
Steve took Warf the squash with him to work. He'll have a bit of a conversation piece for a while...till he eats it.

Let me know what you think about X-Men 3, OK? I doubt we'll go to see it for a while in the regular cinema because of the expense, we won't even bother if you think it's not very good...we'll just wait till the cheap cinema release.

Yeah...Sister said they called at 1:00 before they came over.
To: 2Jedismom; Bear_in_RoseBear
I *might* actually go to a matinee for it one of these weekends. OK, so it's not exactly classic cinema...but it should be a fun movie, and I haven't been to one since I moved here.
