Until the stars are all alight

Home is behind, the world ahead,

Through shadows to the edge of night,

They collards are GONE GONE GONE! They were absolutely delicious and are now my favorite. Turnips get kinda limp when you cook em. These held their leafy shape and I thought they weren't even done until I bit in to them. Mmmmm! Very tender!

Mmmm...riding mower.
I wish I had one. Mine is a really heavy push mower, no auto-pilot or anything. Nearly kills me to mow with it, but I still like to.
Steve got it for me for my birthday a few years ago.

May be! I'll check and see. Do I take it to someone to have it sharpened or do you just sharpen it with a file?
Usually ours gets pretty mangled by the end of the season...chunks missing out of it. Heh heh! But it's not very old right now...we put it on at the end of last season, I think.

Steve came in and mowed that little section I left after supper. Then we worked in the garden. Heard a gopher going under the turnips! It wasn't pulling on them, just running in to them, I guess, as it passed through it's tunnel. Ha!
We have a bunch of amorous birds in our back yard, I tell ya. I mean it's a constant love-fest going on back there! Finally Steve shouted at them "GET A ROOM!" LOL It was pretty funny.
It was a nice evening. Hard to describe how strange it feels.
