New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |

Are the sheets on them clean?
You inspired me...I got a big part of the back mowed.
Taking a break, drinking some seltzer.
Heh - and good morning :~D
I washed most of 'em...can do another load as soon as I get home so they'll be ready to go.
OK - good, thanks :~D
Yah... I've heard it called Decoration Day. This cemetery is unmaintained, and all of us with family plots actually do the cleanup there. There's probably fifty to seventy people that show up.
It's an old Scandinavian cemetery. There's names that go back many generations in this area. Started in the 1880's or 90's I think.
Play it by baby?
She definitely bragged on the safety bit too. But mostly on the shooting the big gun. Why we don't have pictures... you should have seen my mom's face when she said "AK-47"...
The standoff has ended with the dude shot... taking him to the hospital I guess.
I'll say!
Got my back yard mowed except for one little area in the back which is on a bit of a slope. I can do it but it's very difficult, requires more upper body strength than I have. Steve can do it easily and so I will leave it for him. He won't mind, as he didn't have to do any of the rest of it.
I don't have rocks to contend with...I have sticks from the trees. Come a big wind (and we have them, as you know) and the yard is full of limbs.
I need a new blade, too. Mine is cutting ragged.
I'd say your suspicions of what Ruthy would be happy doing are pretty right on. :-)
Still in the happy post-smoochmoot glow here.
I know what you mean...been feeling that glow for [more than] 14 years.
I'm having lunch...cheese quesadillas with black beans and habanero flakes.
I'm on my third one...they're small.
My mouth is on fire! Yowser!
I had a leftover spicy chicken breast. My mother has put me on a very specific diet designed to make my wedding dress look good ;-) I get to eat... chicken, turkey, tuna, and vegetables. Oh, and eggses.
Actually sounds quite delicious!
That reminds me...Steve wanted me to check the carb count for the turnips (remember, I planted 270 of them, I think...Heh). He's back on induction post-MIL visit.
~sigh~
I get to start looking for a new job again.
Oh dang! Well, good luck with that!
