Well, Joshua already has big plans. On the way to Walmart last night he said "I'm so glad you're done, Dad...I want you to put a pully in my treehouse so I can pull stuff up like Hot Wheels, snacks, toads..."
Josh was very sincere. I thought Steve was gonna loose it.
Heh, and I turned down an offer for a summer spot as a research assistant right around TurkeyMoot... I was pretty sure by then I wasn't interested in sticking around that long.
He'll be home in two hours. I have to pick him up a little past noon.

LOL! Why not?! Being finally done and graduating is a great reason to show the colors. Congratulations!
In other news, Bittygirl is not feeling well. Yesterday her nose was running like a fountain, poor thing. Last night she spiked a 102 degree fever before dinner. Then she fell asleep on the couch. By the time I got her to bed it was down with the aid of Motrin. I noticed she kept tugging at her right ear. This morning (8:30), she was slightly warm, but not as bad as last night. She is stll sleeping. ~sigh~ I didn't want to go camping this weekend anyway ;-)

Had some cable internet trouble this morning. Seems to be working now.

Yeah, I cancelled the plans for camping, but we are still going to do the *rest* of our scheduled activities minus park day.
That includes taekwondo (today), baseball game (tonight), rollerskating (tomorrow), and chess club (tomorrow). I think I will make sure we have hats for all outdoor events.
His baseball game tonight is at 7:45! PE is out of town, so I have to lug everyone around on my own. I am SO thankful we had snack duty last week!
Oh yes, karateboy made brown belt decided last week. Yesterday he decided to continue after black belt. We'd been discussing it for about three weeks. So today he gets to join the Master Club. Today he will get a new t-shirt, new weapons, and a new belt with a yellow stripe (I think). He *should* be testing for Black belt in November. Joining Master Club means two more years of taekwondo (starting after November).
Speaking of taekwondo... yesterday there were about 4 toddlers playing and dancing, as they usually do, while older siblings were in class. They were all close to the mat imitating whatever the class was doing. So, one of the instructors came over and taught them how to sit and stand "like a black belt" ROFL it was absolutely adorable. We joked with the instructor saying that he had a class of pre-Tiny Tigers (You can't start Tiny Tigers until you are 4 years old).
I was wondering if the 'better than homework' setting on my mind control ray would ever come in handy. And it did!
