I just saw on Foxnews that President Bush's poll numbers have taken another dive. Gee I wonder why?
Maybe the average American isn't thrilled about our President hosting the Red Chinese..complete with marching bands..and a 21 gun salute.
Maybe the average American isn't thrilled that 12000 illegal aliens enter the US every day. Screw guest workers, screw the economy..if the terrorist sneak some sort of bomb in here..its all gonna be blown to hell anyways.
Maybe the average American isn't thrilled that Iran was named CHAIRMAN of the disarm committee of the UN..and we don't hear A PEEP from our President.
What happens next of course..is that Iran will call for Israel to "unarm" themselves of their weapons. Why are we hosting the red chinese anyways? A country where human rights DO NOT EXIST.
China..a country that threatened the United States.
Remember this??
If the Americans draw their missiles and position-guided ammunition on to the target zone on China's territory, I think we will have to respond with nuclear weapons, said General Zhu Chenghu.

I agree 100 percent. I'm very very upset. I'm not one of these people that want to be angry with him. Its simply the fact that...I've held my nose as long as I can.

You can't deny that Bush's support among conservatives is dropping significantly.
Sure he can. It doesn't make him right, but he can deny anything.

I meant someone who came from humble beginnings, like Reagan.
John Kasich is a perfect example - I think his dad was a postal worker.

Personally I don't think it's just a Bush problem, as much as it is a GOP problem.
What do they stand for? Do they stand for smaller government? That's a hard case to make with their spending.
Are they for lower taxes? Hell, I just had to pay the AMT for the first time ever, what's up with that?
It all goes back to "that vision thing."

I was polled once on whether I favored President Bush's performance. It was a couple of years ago and despite my complaints about some things he had been doing or not doing(mainly his malfeasance in securing our borders) I gave him a favorable rating. In balance, at the time, he was performing favorably in my opinion. If I was called today with the same poll I would give him an unfavorable rating. I'm a Republican Precinct Committeeman, President of a Republican club, served as Delegate to the State Republican Convention, served on the campaign staff of 3 Republican congressional campaigns, etc. So, is there any wonder why his numbers are in free fall? I was a broken glass Republican in 2000, campaigned for President Bush in the last two elections, attended Bush rallies, stood outside my polling place for hours with a Bush for President sign on election day. Yet, his performance in office has left me very disappointed. And I don't see things improving. In fact, with each passing day and the more he says and does, the more I find his performance to be poor. This grand welcome with fanfare and all of the Chinese tyrant is just another in a long series of problems I have with this President.
If Clinton had welcomed the Chinese dictator into the White House with the same pomp and pageantry, Free Republic would have gone apopleptic for a day or two. President Bush does it and there's hardly a thread about it and those threads are mainly about the courageous woman who yelled at Hu about his brutal, murderous control of China.

Did Blackwell win the (R) nomination in Ohio? If so, I'm sending him money. He is awesome.
It would be unbelievable if he and Swann both won.

The primary is in two weeks.
All polls show him leading Petro by anywhere from 10 to 14 points.

Bush's poll numbers have actually been going up the past few days to 43% according to Rasmussen Report.
Since Rasmussen Report polls everyday, uses a larger sample size, and does a 3 day rolling average, I, statistically trust that poll much more than any other. Mathematically it is a superior polling method.

I see, it not about reality, it about finding the next thing the Whine All The Time Choir can squeal at Bush about. I see the Deniac Virtual Campaigners and the Freeper Fringers don't want truth, simply self validation.

The country doesn't want liberals.
The country doesn't want half ass republicans.
WE WANT CONSERVATIVES. Liberals end up getting elected because they either
A: Pass themselves off as Conservatives or..
B: People get so angry with liberal republicans they vote third party or not at all..and some idiot like Spector gets elected.

Okay.....
So...what if I came from a family that made $500k a year? Would that be alright?
$400k..??
$150k..??
$75k..??
$700k..??
Do you have a cut-off point? Or a max?
I've known some people that had more money than some states...and you would never know it...Some were trust fund people...some earned every penny. And others that wanted you to think they made millions...when they most surely didn't.
My point is....money in and of itself...doesn't make or break the person.
