Why do most Pyschics or Mediums Seem to be Liberal?
self | 04/20/2006 | Pippin

Posted on 04/20/2006 9:56:03 AM PDT by Pippin

This is just a curiosity I have from my "travels" throught the internet and "google".

Now, after about 4 years of being a Freeper, I really do have fun here!

I've met lot's a different people from all over this country and also from other countries.

Most of you know me by now (I know, the trouble maker from MD! LOL!)

My question and comment has very little to do with politics (Or shouldn't have).

I have been looking up info on psychics and thier predictions on variuos websites and listings.

I've read all sorts of "predictions" that seem to paint a very dark picture of the future, both of our nation and President Bush and indeed the world.

Most predictors seem to have made predictions with a very liberal bent.

even one that claimed President Bush is a medium or a psychic!

others say he'll either resign by the end of this year under scandal or he'll go crazy or get very ill and die or be assasinated.

No mention of impeachment, but I'm sure it's coming!

All this leads to my question

Aren't there any Conservative Psychics or mediums?

Why do the ones I read about tend to be left-leaning Bush/America-hating liberals?

Am I missing something here?

I'll have to tell you something (at risk of being called crazy)

I do have limited psychic abilities, but I am not getting any major vibes making outlandish claims.

I am a Conservative Christian and don't think there is anything wrong with having certain abilities, you just have to be careful of were these abilities come from.

God can bestow these gifts on a person and that is good

but, be careful that they ARE from God, and not the Devil.

God bless all of you!

There is the globalism that lets us see that we are all children of a loving God who loves us in spite of ourselves. That is not what Quix was talking about. I think Quix was mostly ragging on the liberal vision of Globalism, where the State tells us what to do and believe, tells us if we can be born and when to die, and in exchange they promise us work and/or an income, food, sex and pleasure.

The word 'globalism' is thrown around a lot here........mostly as a political attack on President Bush, having nothing to do with Biblical truth.

I guess, I would have liked for it to have been clarified before it was thrown into the mix here.

Didn't mean to start a debate about globalism

I will just leave it with this. Beware of mixing political opinions with Biblical prophesy.

I am well aware of what some preachers are espousing out there. I am just cautioning that they may not have a truly spiritual perspective on things, and it is dangerous to get swept into the 'I-know-what's-in-the-future' angle of things.

The demonic takes many forms, some of which look like angels of light. Look at the Scripture for what is there, and not what someone tells you is there.

You didn't bring up globalism, Pippin. It shouldn't have been introduced into the debate at all, IMO.

See, that's what I was getting at, it seems that most "psychics" seem to be putting thier own political beliefs into thier predictions, and IMHO, really predicting thing they wished would happen.

My fault, Pippin . . .

I just wanted to draw a parallel in answering your question.

--NEW AGEism
--SATANIC NEW WORLD ORDER GLOBAL GOVERNMENT OF TYRANNY, HORRID ABUSE AND GREAT NUMBERS DELIBERATELY KILLED
--OCCULTIC PSYCHIC PRACTICES
--DELUSIONS ABOUT THE ABOVE INCLUDING ABOUT UFO/ET CONNECTIONS WITH SATANIC/DEMONIC FORCES
--THE BEAUTIFUL FACE OF EVIL
--COUNTERFEITS TO GODLY THINGS OF ALL KINDS

etc. etc.

I just wanted to highlight the fact that from a macro level to an individual level--there's only 2 sources--God or His temporarily tolerated and enormously, infinitely smaller opposition.

Amen! Nothing in between.

Be careful, Pippin. Please. Dabbling in any form of the occult is dangerous.

I know how easy it is to forget our buzzwords aren't always everybody's definition of them. I forget too!

Funny, when I think of globalism, I think of Hillary and her vision, and the EU, and not President Bush.

Amazing how broad a key term can be!

Most psychics seem to have a desire to "help people", so they naturally gravitate toward the side of the political spectrum that parrots similar rhetoric. And the demand for their services is much higher in, say, Berkeley, CA than at a county fair in Alabama, so they are going to reflect the politics of the areas where they live.

And most of them are about as "demonic" as Harry Potter. ;)

I'm more convinced every day that, aside from a few hundred rabid DU'ers, most "liberals" really don't have a well thought-out set of beliefs or values at all. They are actually trying to be nice people, they just have never learned that moral character and genuine self-esteem have to be earned - they can't be given away for free.
