Hello? This stuff would have been destroyed or turned over to their attorneys days ago.
http://www.wral.com/news/8855428/detail.html
An affidavit for a warrant to search the dorm room of Collin Finnerty, 19, showed police were looking for clothing from suspect or the accuser, as well as property belonging to the alleged victim, who told police she was raped by three Duke lacrosse athletes. It also mentions looking for digital recordings, still photos and e-mail correspondence.
Fugitive-
"There is a faddishness of words in the Queer Eye for the Queer Guy media"
And like the boy who cried "Wolf", the more they are used, and especially the more they are mis-used, the more they lose their effectiveness.
No wonder the DemoMedia is in free fall.
I think our culture has sunk quite low, but for reasons far beyond this.
My parent's generation (and they are in their 70's) and their parent's generation before them hired strippers and went to strip clubs. Look at one of the first things guys in WWII did when they got leave -- went to strip clubs. You can't live in a bubble.
I'm sure that most parents here could make the same claim. But I would be the first among them to ever make the flat out claim that MY children would ever stray from their father's and my teachings.
Our children are human beings, therefore fallible, and not little programed robots.
>>btw, more than once I've had to call parents of perfect children and tell them "Say could you come down to the station and pick up your drunk Kid? .. Could ya hurry?
Ya their puking like volcanoes and it's p*ssing off the trustees ,,, Yes Madam, I think I'm talking to Little Joe Snotrag's family... Hello? Hello?)<<
Oh- the "pure" family you mean. My husband just retired last year after 30 years in law enforcement. Some people just think little Johnney can do no wrong 'til that middle of the night phone call.By the way I have three adult sons, so been there done that too>
No, they do this by going to the "Vagina Monologues" and shouting c*nt in unison.
exactly, and what good did it do the kid who was watching Letterman and eschewing the strip show? not a bit. he was in the house, listed as a suspect, pic on wanted posters all over town, talked about all over the country as a member of this team, and there he was... a holier than thou. it can happen to anyone.
What is cracking me up is the Great Generation who fought WWII went to strip clubs the SECOND they got leave. I have involved myself in the MOST ridiculous conversation on FR that I've ever perhaps engaged in. LOL
Crap! One typo and I ruin the thread.
SHOW = SHOE
SHOW = SHOE
SHOW = SHOE
SHOW = SHOE
SHOW = SHOE
SHOW = SHOE
Oh, definitely. We have a couple of family members who are teachers and the stories they tell about those "perfect" kids would make your hair curl. And those are just the things those "perfect" kids got CAUGHT doing!
It's so Christian of you to bash me behind my back without pinging me. Now THAT tells me everything I ever suspected about you.
What people on this thread are outraged by is powerful people and interest groups (Nifong, Jesse Jackson, the Duke professoriate, the MSM ....) trampling on their constitutional rights and presuming them guilty until proven innocent.
If you have followed these threads, you will see the main focus is the conduct of the DA with the touting and then disavowing of the DNA tests, the illegal photo identification and the unwillingness to meet with defense counsel regarding exculpatory evidence before indictment.
You will see the focus on the rush to judgment by the Duke professoriate and the "Take Back the Night" crowd which has condemned the players without a full airing of evidence.
You will see the focus on the rush to judgment by the talk-TV nags like Nancy Grace, Wendy Murphy, Catherine Crier, Rita Cosby .... Many of whom who know better but are so driven by their self-agendas to rationally view the evidence.
in fact, i would go so far as to say we could probably get a list of VOLUNTEER physical therapists together who would work ya over! ok, i'll calm down now ; )
The WRAL article said court documents show what was to be looked for (shoe,etc) in Finnerty's room. I wonder if by Tuesday afternoon the investigators had given up on tying Seligmann to any assault, and were focusing desperately on finding something on Finnerty.
Hi, Jane. I wouldn't be thrilled if my stepson hired a stripper, but given that the Greatest Generation headed straight to the first strip club and bar they could find when they got on leave, I don't think it's quite correct for some people on this thread to characterize these young men the way they've been characterized.
Moving on would be an excellent choice.
Do we know if they are looking for her shoe or his shoes?
See the brown shoe and flipflop in post #515.
I don't think that's true. She's saying these things happen a lot with college age kids and that's definitely true. It has been for a long time. The attitude that "they had it coming" seems to be her beef, and understandably.
I can't get over how long they waited to search for that stuff. Heck, the forced the kids to be photographed for scratches and submit to DNA testing, even if they weren't at the party. What, the DA didn't think he could get a judge to order a search of 46 rooms right after the fake rape was reported?
