1)No one, this is NC after all. House Speaker Black (D)is under Federal and State investigation and nothing will come of this either for the DA. He is a Dem in Durham.
2)Heck no. She will be exalted in Durham for pointing out the "truth". They may build a statue of her likeness on the NC Central campus. This is Durham after all.

4)Tens of millions. Shakedown Jackson will shake Duke down for over $10 million so the "healing" can begin in Durham.
What about the damage to North Carolina. Any company moving to the Raleigh-Durham area is going to think twice.
The defense says that 41 of the 47 players were there at the party. In addition, $800= 40 players paying $20 each. I seriously doubt that, despite how "privileged" they are, only a couple of players paid $100 or more each for a stripper.
Nothing in the world "justifies" the rape of a woman. However, it might not be smart to go infront of a crowd of testosterone-charged, drunk college boys and take off your clothes while wiggling like a cheap whore.
Likewise, wolves would not be justified in eating me to bare bones if I walked through the empty forest unarmed, and I wouldn't glue thousand dollar bills to my body and walk through the victim's neighborhood late at night. In each case, I would have done nothing wrong, and would not deserve the results. But I would have to be some kind of fool to do it for a living.

Oh, I agree. I think the strippers started dancing and were getting made fun of by the players. They went into the bathroom after 3-4 minutes and still expected to get paid. The strippers said, pay us or we will call the cops.
Do you know if we the taxpayers are already funding her schooling thru the VA? Or is there something about the length or character of her service that made her inelugible for VA bennies?

I know the response that I'm going to get is that rape is about power/control and not sex, and I'm sure it is, but my guess is that the quality of female that these guys can pull (even if they have to go to Chapel Hill to find it) would so far exceed this stripper that they wouldn't have touched her with a 10-foot pole, let alone a penis with a condom on it.
